We had an excellent experience! We installed a 27 light dining room chandelier and 3 larger matching kitchen pendant... lights. I was weary at first as we're in Los Angeles and they are in Israel... shipping glass, different electrical, etc. I sent photos and measurements of our new kitchen and dining room, explained the look I was going for and Miri gave me great guidance. The package arrived safely and very professionally packed and presented. I had a problem with the inner layer of glass as expected it to obscure the inner workings more than it did. I did not want to see the bulbs on the inside. The other issue is there was a miscommunication with the fact that only the kitchen pendant lights came dimmable which I suggest being very clear that you want all your lights to be dimmable. They very quickly and politely solved both issues by sending me replacement glass sides and sent me the dimmable driver at an additional cost plus shipping. My electrician and I had no problem installing everything and we couldn't be more THRILLED with the results!!

It was an expensive purchase for us but we have no regrets and love them every single day!! You should DO IT!!read more

Shimal’e Peleg‘s light and glass artistry is simply gorgeous. I was searching for a dramatic chandelier to hang from... our 22 foot loft ceiling. The chandelier needed to have high design impact, but not take a lot of visual space. I wanted something that was multi-tiered to add visual interest going from the ceiling all the way down to the dining room table in the area below the loft opening.
I worked with Shimal’e Peleg’s representatives, giving them details about the space, (i.e. the loft opening measurements, the height I wanted the pendants to hang at ground-floor level above dining room table, the shape of the chandelier canopy, the color of the canopy, etc.) and the design statement I wanted the chandelier to make. SP was listening to every detail and sent me a design suggestion. They also sent me glass color samples. I decided to go with a 30-pendant chandelier using 2 different colors of glass (white & winter gray).
The glass is made by hand. Each pendant is made from 4 pieces of glass that are 15” in length. The glass is stunning! Each piece of glass has variations in texture and color. It is definitely glass art. There are soft ripples in the glass that change the color and intensity of the light, and the light the chandelier puts out is soft and elegant.
Working with SP was also very easy. The whole process was collaborative and attentive. I had some concerns ordering a large piece like this from Israel, but SP assured me they would take special care with packaging and shipping the chandelier to me. The first canopy arrived and was bent in some places. When I notified SP, they immediately started fabricating a new canopy for me.
It took a very courageous and patient electrician to install the fixture, but once installed the fixture is stunning! It is truly the focal point in our new modern home.
I can’t thank Shimal’e Peleg and his representatives enough, for making the whole process easy and stress-free. I recommend this artist wholeheartedly!read more
